Nashville Pipes and Drums (NP&D) was formed in 1984. For the past 40 years, Nashville Pipes and Drums has advanced the great tradition of Scottish music in the Middle Tennessee region through education, performance, and competition.
As a non-profit 501(c)(3)organization, the band finances uniform and equipment needs primarily through performance fees and individual donations. NP&D is also eligible for local, state and federal grant programs. It costs upwards of several thousand dollars to outfit a band member with the full highland dress uniform, and every drum can cost several hundreds of dollars.
If you wish to support NP&D, there are several steps you can take to help our organization fulfill its mission of advancing Scottish culture and tradition through piping and drumming.
